Another study has been performed that adds to the growing evidence that weight loss surgery like gastric bypass, lap band, and others has profound benefits for people suffering from diabetes.
The small study performed by the Clevelend Clinic shows substantial benefits to glycemic status and other comorbid conditions.
A recent study published in the journal Obesity Surgery examined information from over 50,000 patients and determined that patients who had weight loss surgery had a lower incident of cancer than obese patients who did not have the surgery.
