Once you have fully recovered from your LAP-BAND procedure, you will probably be curious about how much of an impact your procedure will have on your everyday life and the tasks you perform on a daily basis. You may also be wondering if strenuous exercise could put your results or your health at risk.

The LAP-BAND procedure should not hinder your ability to exercise. In fact, daily physical activity and regular exercise are highly encouraged. The main goal of your procedure is to improve your quality of life. Maintaining those results and that higher quality of life is something that can require effort, but it is worth it so that you can enjoy your new body and happier life for years to come.

If you have any questions regarding the LAP-BAND procedure or any of our other weight-loss options, please contact Western Surgical Bariatric Center to schedule a consultation with renowned bariatric surgeon Dr. John Weaver.
